What Faldro is, and isn't

Faldro is a mail client. You connect mailboxes you already have with your provider (hosting, dpoczta, OVH, Microsoft 365, Gmail with an app password, etc.), and Faldro fetches mail from them over IMAP and sends it over SMTP. You see all your addresses in one inbox, can share them with your team, and handle them like a helpdesk.

Faldro is not a mail server. We don't set up new addresses for you and don't host your domain. Your mail stays on the provider's server; Faldro keeps its own copy for fast reading and searching, but folders, read flags and moves sync with the server both ways.

What this means in practice

• You can stop using Faldro at any time — your mail is with the provider, and a full organisation export (ZIP) is one button away.
• If the provider blocks the mailbox or you change the password, Faldro stops fetching from it until you enter the new one — see server rejects the password.
• Deliverability (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) depends on your domain and provider; Faldro checks it and gives hints, but you set the DNS records wherever your domain is hosted.
